GAgives on GivingTuesday is Georgia's biggest day of generosity.

Since 2012, the GAgives movement has helped raise more than $241 million for the benefit of thousands of nonprofits. Led by the Georgia Center for Nonprofits (GCN), GAgives on GivingTuesday spotlights the work and worth of the nonprofit sector.

In 2017, GAgives began our partnership with the global GivingTuesday movement, giving GCN the privilege of serving as official organizer for the GivingTuesday campaign in Georgia. 

In 2025, GAgives helped raise over $41 million for Georgia’s nonprofits. Read about last year’s results, which set another incredible giving record!

This year’s GAgives kicks off on November 1st with a month of early giving, culminating on December 1st, GivingTuesday. Held each year on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, GAgives on GivingTuesday gives Georgians the chance to fulfill the true spirit of the giving season following the annual shopping-centered traditions of Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

How to participate

Nonprofits:

• Each year, nonprofits are invited to use the GAgives.org fundraising platform to raise money and access free campaign resources.
• Participating organizations are encouraged to check out our Nonprofit Resources page and sign up for our emails.

Donors:

• You can search for and donate to any Georgia-registered nonprofit through GAgives.org – ALL of Georgia’s 501c3 tax-exempt organizations are listed on our site. 
• Want to multiply your impact? In just five minutes, you can create your own GAgives.org fundraising page to share with their friends, family, and other online networks, bringing in donations that nonprofits can’t reach on their own. Check out our P2P donor toolkit for step-by-step instructions.
