Agape Youth & Family Center

Who is Agape Youth & Family Center?

Agape Youth & Family Center is a nonprofit community center dedicated to ending generational poverty through education in Northwest Atlanta. We focus on student wellbeing, education, and post-secondary planning to help our students reach their full potential. Through in-school and after-school programs, school break experiences, parent programming, and much more, Agape strives to empower and support underserved families within our community to discover, embrace, and achieve their full potential. Our Impact

Since Agape started in 1997, over 500 children have enrolled in our programs. We have distributed over 55,000 backpacks, toys, and coats and served more than 300,000 meals.

In 2023 alone, we:

• Served 205 students from 119 families
• Assisted students for 136 homework hours and 446 reading sessions
• Served 19,964 meals
• Held 1,268 academic interventions to keep our students on track
• Had a 100% high school graduation rate
