Algies House of Refuge Incorporated

Our Mission

Algie's House of Refuge is a non-profit organization (501c3) that helps homeless men find jobs. We do online job searches, update resumes, set up interviews, provide suits and transportation for the interview. We also pay for temporary housing, buy food, and pay for cell phone cards and Marta cards so they can get to work. We have financial training to teach about opening a bank account, understanding their credit report, and investing. We offer our clients life insurance so if something were to happen to them, they can take some of the burden off their family, by leaving something for their children and for the funeral costs.

Our vision is to provide our own temporary housing in the future.
