Angels Among Us Pet Rescue

Angels Among Us Pet Rescue (Angels Rescue) was founded in February 2009 by a small group of individuals committed to saving the growing numbers of unwanted, abandoned, abused, and stray dogs and cats in animal control facilities across Georgia. With the help of donors, fosters, and other volunteers, this organization has saved the lives of over 22,500 dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens in just fourteen years.  We do not have a facility or a shelter. We rely on loving foster homes throughout north Georgia. Angels Rescue one of the largest foster-based rescues in the Southeast. In 2025 so far, we rescued over 690 dogs and cats and celebrated 655 “happily ever after…” adoptions.  

Due to major medical issues, such as heartworms, parvovirus, or specialty surgery, most of these animals would be at high-risk for euthanasia without donors like you. Because of the lengths we go to, the veterinary bills are staggering. We rely on support from generous donors such as yourself, and together, we will "Rescue One Until There are None".
