Seniors, St. Joseph Place

St. Joseph Place is an independent living community for low-income seniors offering affordable housing.  St. Joseph Place is an inviting cluster of one-story apartments, each with a private entrance and over 500 square feet of living space. Your support will fund various needs for the community, including enrichment projects to engage residents, such as gardening, as well as help fund residents’ laundry services, etc.   

Current Needs:

Examples of how your donation can make a difference:

• $25 provides a hygiene kit for a senior
• $50 provides a bag of soil and plants for residents to garden
• $100 allows a senior to wash clothes for a year
• Any contribution helps!

Safe Passages, for Unaccompanied Children

Safe Passages provides in-home services that are designed to ensure that children are in a safe environment. For those identified as most vulnerable, Catholic Charities Atlanta provides services which ensure that children have access to educational, health and mental health care, and legal services as children transition through the court process. Your support will fund various needs for children such as school supplies and backpacks, new, clean clothes, and shoes. It will also provide stability and comfort during a time of uncertainty.

Current Needs:

Examples of how your donation can make a difference:

• $25 provides a hygiene kit for a child 
• $250 provides a child with school supplies and a new backpack
• $500 provides four children with new, clean clothes and shoes
• Any contribution helps!
