Connecting people to people and people to resources, we help build community from within.  CDF works to connect and engage the community of Clarkston and surroundingareas by helping residents to recognize and develop the individual capacities ofevery person. By supporting participation and collaboration among communitymembers, we work to build a community whose residents drive and direct thedevelopment of activities and services that benefit the community. Our centralgoal is to encourage and equip residents to take a leading role in their ownfutures.The community engagement work of CDF results in increased relationships,respect, and commitment. By achieving these results, residents becomeengaged and able to take collective action in their community. In turn, thecommunity grows more vibrant and resilient for the future.
