Explore Gods World, Inc.

Explore God's World is a non-profit outdoor ministry that hosts multiple events per year to teach God's word through nature.  We use outdoor adventure to bring people of all walks of life together to learn about the love and grace of Jesus.  Our ministry offers people the chance to unplug from the modern world and reconnect with Christ through the beauty of the natural world.  

In March 2007, eight men went canoe camping in the Okefenokee Swamp. This trip was organized because there were several men who needed to get away for the weekend. After a four hour car ride and a 10 mile paddle into the swamp to a large wooden platform, we found ourselves far away from the daily distractions of life. Little did we know but this trip was the beginning of Explore God's World.

After the initial event,  God laid it on our hearts to provide the same experience to other men.  We knew that other men would benefit from stopping the "rat race" long enough to hear God speaking to them.   Since that initial trip, Explore God's World  continues to organize an annual trip for men and boys encouraging them through praise, worship, and adventure.  Because of the faithfulness with our men's trip, God has blessed us with additional retreats such as an annual Ladies Adventure Trip and yearly Father/Daughter weekend.  We have also taken youth groups, small group classes, and partner organizations on day hikes, camping trips and other adventures.  

In the future, we hope to offer additional events, and scholarships to people who cannot afford the cost of an event.  We rely solely on the financial support of individual donors and companies to help us meet God's mission.
