We hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving!  

As we give thanks and reflect on this year, healing is a word that keeps coming to mind. Healing is critical for anyone who has been wounded or injured. It is equally important for a community to heal.  

   Giving Tuesday is nearing, and in this moment of reflection, we also see many signs of progress and tenacity.  Family Heritage Foundation (FHF) continues to work to address disparities and improve the well-being in the lives of children, families and communities throughout our area. As we continue to work alongside our many foundations, organizations, and nonprofit partners across the metropolitan area and beyond; the data about children education, housing and income is not new. 

 The work of Family Heritage Foundation gives families hope. The organization began by bringing attention to children education through their free Save America’s Youth Yes! (SAY. Yes!) Afterschool Program.  FHF also focus in stronger families, leadership development, housing assistant, literacy, and feeding through our food pantry in DeKalb County, Georgia.
