Fast Friends of Hall County Animal Shelter Inc

FAST Friends (Foster-Adopt-Sponsor-Transport) was initially set up to provide a way for individuals to donate towards shelter animals, as our local shelter could not guarantee that funds donated directly to them would be used as the donors requested. 100% of funds donated to FAST Friends are earmarked specifically as the donor requests.  Over the years, we have supplied music in the adoption rooms, purchased kennel decks for all the dogs, so they wouldn't have to lay on cold, wet concrete, purchased hanging stainless steel water pails - to prevent dogs from tipping them over or defecating in them, sponsored costs of transporting animals, and purchased treats and toys for the Cat Adoption Room. 

In recent years, we have focused on raising funds to sponor heartworm treatments for shelter dogs, as the extra cost of treatment was preventing those animals from being adopted.  FAST Friends now sponsors ALL heartworm treatment at our local shelter and also helps cover treatment costs at other shelters in the North GA area, as well. 

FAST Friends also sponsors adoption and rescue pull fees for senior animals and urgent animals.  We also provide traps and help sponsor spay/neuter costs for our local Community Cat Program, as well as help provide food for nursing mother cats and kittens.    

We are a very small non-profit, with a huge mission and without donations, none of it would be possible.
