About Fox Gives

Fox Gives is the expanded outreach arm of Atlanta's iconic Fox Theatre, committed to fostering community partnerships and enriching lives through the arts. Evolved from the Fox Theatre Institute, Fox Gives continues the legacy of providing historic preservation expertise, consultation, and education to performing arts venues in Georgia and beyond. With a focus on environmental and economic impact, Fox Gives offers multiyear preservation grants, arts education programs, and vocational mentorship, leveraging resources to stimulate local economies and keep the artistic pulse of communities vibrant. Under the Fox Gives umbrella, the theatre introduces transformative initiatives like the All-Access Pass high school program to open new doors in vocational arts education for young minds. For more information, visit www.foxtheatre.org/foxgives and stay connected on Facebook and Instagram.

Heading into its 16th year of service, Fox Gives engages public and private partnership organizations from across the state and beyond to further leverage local success and grow each individual theatres own community impact.

Fox Gives helps other cultural institutions renew, reinvigorate, and restore artistic vitality in their respective communities, and has awarded more than $3.2 million to over 70 historic theatres’ projects. This financial support for historic theatres is made possible in part by generous contributions shared through donations and Friends of the Fox memberships, as well as revenue from tickets, concessions, and other funding sources from the Fox Theatre. This investment allows others to receive the benefits of supporting the arts in their own community well beyond the Atlanta area.

Fox Gives also offers professional development through seminars and strategic planning, and manages Georgia Presenters, a statewide booking consortium encouraging collaboration in Georgia and the region. Our Fox in a Box curriculum-based program shares the Fox's rich history with Georgia’s elementary schools, with both a virtual version and an in-person offering for metro-Atlanta’s students and across Georgia. The newly updated virtual presentation includes both English and bilingual Spanish versions.

The Fox Theatre has begun planning to celebrate its 100th anniversary of Atlanta’s premiere National Historic Landmark in 2028-2029.

Why Give?

Individual and organizations’ donations are vital to the ongoing work of Fox Gives, and your gift further elevates future success. Your contribution will help us continue the future of educational programs, technical assistance for preservation, and operations experience throughout the state and beyond.
