Georgia Appleseed Inc

Georgia Appleseed is a nonpartisan, nonprofit law center that advances justice in Georgia through law and policy reform, community engagement and legal representation of children. 

We focus our efforts on supporting Georgia's children, particularly Black and Brown and LGBTQ+ children, and those living in poverty, in foster care, and with disabilities. We believe justice requires that every child has access to strong, nurturing schools and a healthy home. 

Georgia Appleseed is a data-driven nonprofit with a proven history of advancing policy and practical solutions to address the root causes of injustices experienced by Georgia's marginalized and most vulnerable children. For almost 20 years, our supporters have received exceptional returns on their investment in us because we create and implement scalable change. Recently, our focus has been on promoting safe home environments, fair school discipline practices, and access to learning resources and mental and behavioral health supports.
