Griffin Area Resource Center has been serving adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities like Down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, and cognitive or learning impairments since 1955. We work to empower individuals with disabilities to attain the highest level of personal independence and connection to their community. Through our Adult Day Center we offer job coaching, community outings, volunteer opportunities, and in-home supports for individuals living independently.

Griffin Area Resource Center is a private non-profit organization, we are not a fully government-funded facility. Your donations will help support individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). We strive to help individuals in our community live a meaningful life. Your donations will allow us to take our individuals out into the community to volunteer, go on field trips, go bowling, go to the movies, etc. You can help fund daily activities such as disc golf, pickleball, corn hole, bingo, and so much more! Your generosity can also help with the cost of transporting our individuals to and from the Day Center or their jobs.

We strive to empower our individuals' personal independence and connection within their community. It is our mission to improve their quality of life on a daily basis.
