Ignatius House Jesuit Retreat Center

A nonprofit organization

Ignatius House Jesuit Retreat Center is a Catholic, non-profit organization dedicated to spiritual growth, walking with the excluded, and care for our common home.  Overlooking Atlanta's Chattahoochee River, the retreat house welcomes 3,000 individuals each year for silent prayer, healthful meditation, rejuvenating meetings and conferences, and joyful religious services.

Ignatius House is a spiritual companion as you discern complex choices in the social, economic, and cultural spheres of life. We help you discover how the 500-year-old legacy of St. Ignatius of Loyola helps us become not only our best selves, but our truest selves. It is a new path to encountering God in a place where people of all faiths are welcome.

Charitable programs at Ignatius House include:

  •  retreats for those transitioning from homelessness and addiction
  • future faith-sharing circles for women of color
  • culinary career training for those advancing from half-way houses toward independence
  • environmental stewardship, and more.
