Keep Carroll Beautiful is a certified Keep America Beautiful affiliate serving Carroll County, Georgia. Through education, litter programs, beautification efforts, and recycling events, our organization is working towards the goal of a clean, green, safe, and beautiful community.

OUR MISSION: To engage the citizens of Carroll County in taking responsibility for improving our community environment.

Since 2005, Keep Carroll Beautiful and many local partners diverted tons of hazardous materials from landfills and, if possible, sent those materials to certified recycling centers. Through Electronics Recycling, Paint Recycling, Tire Recycling, and Paper Shredding events, the residents of Carroll County were able to reduce their impact on the environment and responsibly dispose of their unwanted items. Our events are free for residents.

UWG Adopt-A-Road Volunteers during their quarterly cleanup. 

OUR VISION: To perform practical programs that enable residents and neighborhoods to devise solutions for local solid-waste management issues.

Keep Carroll Beautiful works hard on preventing and removing litter from our neighborhoods, parks, and roads. Adopt-A-Road and Adopt-A-Trail are two ongoing initiatives that have an immediate and measurable impact on the appearance of our community. The presence of volunteers along the roads and trails also provides exposure to the trash problem and deters future littering. We are so proud of members of the community who have worked tirelessly to help our community shine!

As easy as planting trees, pollinator gardens, community orchards, and vegetable beds. transform vacant lots into pocket parks.

LITTER PREVENTION

Litter can be attributed to a variety of sources, including deliberate tossing of litter from vehicles & accidental litter from items blowing out of vehicles.

EDUCATION

Keep Carroll Beautiful actively works to educate citizens and to beautify our community to discourage littering behavior.
