The Methodist Children's Home

The Methodist Home provides multi-faceted residential care at several sites in South Georgia to address the needs of abused, neglected and abandoned children across the state of Georgia. We provide a continuum of care, including our Lighthouse for Families counseling services and HOPE Foster Care & Adoption. Services include: residential care, foster care, in-home intervention, wraparound services, child care, independent living, transitional living, higher education support, comprehensive child and family assessments, home evaluations and on-campus education.

We serve our Macon community by providing child care services through our Eagle’s Nest Children’s Center. We also have Tags of Hope Thrift Shoppe located on Vineville Avenue in Macon, where all proceeds benefit our children. The Methodist Home is a faith-based organization working to equip at-risk youth and families with the ability to grow into contributing and productive members of society. The newest program in Macon, EMBRACE, serves teenage mothers and their children in residential care.
