Never Use Alone Inc

We are a national overdose prevention and response call center. Dedicated to reducing the overdose risk to people who use substance use while alone. Our team of peer support specialists receive calls from people who use substances and support their substance use safety plans. In case of an adverse drug event we contact emergency medical services. 

We have received over 13,000 requests for overdose prevention and response services. We have detected less than 90 adverse drug events requiring emergency medical services. Not one person has lost their life while using alone.

Never Use Alone Inc. is a nonprofit organization headquartered in Georgia. NUA was founded in 2019 by a group of peers, people who lost loved ones to fatal drug overdoses. Today, NUA’s goals are to ensure the health and safety of people who use substances while alone, provide harm reduction services to include mental health substance use treatment referrals, and end the opioid crisis a local, regional and National declared public health emergency.
