Quality Care for Children

Quality Care for Children (QCC) is a nationally recognized leader in the early education field with a 45+ year history. Our mission is to equip families and child care providers with the knowledge and resources to nurture and educate Georgia’s infants and young children. We believe that all children, regardless of race, gender, or economic background deserve high-quality early learning experiences to reach their full potential.

Annually, QCC helps 125,000 infants and young children reach their full potential.

QCC fills the gap between what children need and the quality parents can afford. Annually, QCC helps 125,000 infants and young children reach their full potential by: 

• Creating Quality:  Training and onsite consultation to child care providers earning and improving their Quality Rated status; comprehensive family and provider Early Head Start support; and business support services to help providers maximize efficiencies and cost-savings and improve administrative functions.
• Ensuring Access:  Free Child Care Referrals; temporary child care tuition assistance to families experiencing crises; child care tuition scholarships to college student parents; sponsorship for more than 654 Georgia child care programs in the USDA Child and Adult Food Care Program (CACFP), ensuring children are nutritionally ready to learn.
