RE:IMAGINE equips youth facing barriers to employment with essential training and resources, enabling them to thrive with paid apprenticeships and jobs in the Creative Media Industry. Our apprentices go on to secure opportunities with renowned partners such as Warner Bros. Discovery, FuseFX, BWA Studios, Beam Imagination, and more. 

We remove obstacles for youth of color by providing free technical and soft-skills training, a network of professionals, transportation, and equipment access at no cost.

Through Career Exposure, Training, and Job Placement, we have transformed the trajectory of student's lives - serving over 5,000 youth since 2014.

Atlanta continues to be the #1 city of economic inequality; the wealth of white households is 46 times more than that of Black households, which is far worse than the national divide. So far this year RE:IMAGINE has provided over $120,000 in earned income directly to our apprentices (+96% Black) through our employment social enterprise. Additionally, we've secured paid work opportunities through our network of employer partners.

What does my donation support?

• Helps directly support the salary of FOUR apprentices (Maia, Raun, TyKaia, Desi) working with RE:IMAGINE this year and into 2024 
• Provides access to equipment (laptops & cameras) to underserved youth looking to forge a future in the film and creative media industry.
• Supports infrastructure so we can scale programming across Georgia & to California

Scaling our Impact - Why California?

Our footprint in Inglewood opens more opportunities for both our Atlanta and LA-based youth, to connect with media giants.

Like Atlanta, Inglewood (Los Angeles region) is a major hub for the entertainment and creative media industries with a wealth of young, innovative, and creative artists from diverse backgrounds facing similar barriers to training and employment opportunities. With the help of local industry partners such as 4KMore Creative, NCBUniversal, and others, our programs can replicate the success we're having in Atlanta a new generation of young artists and leaders. 

RE:IMAGINE apprentices will get trained and work at a studio in partnership with 4KMore, RE:IMAGINE/Productions will be the leading employment partner, putting our trained apprentices to work in equitable and sustainable positions within their team. NBCUniversal's Creative Impact Lab opens valuable opportunities for our youth to receive paid on-the-job experience, working alongside film and media industry professionals while building up their portfolios.
