Techsav Inc & Santa' Pantry Winter Food Drive

Each year, food insecure families face a long winter break without the breakfasts and lunches served at school. Approximately 66% of Chatham County public school students are economically disadvantaged, which means more than half our population will struggle during these weeks. The goal is to help keep vulnerable children fed and healthy so they are ready to continue learning upon their return to school in January. In 2018 we filled 650 bags to send home with students and we hope to increase that number to at least 1000 in 2019.

TechSAV is community of innovators, designers and technologists in Savannah, Georgia that are passionate about building better products and a better community here in Savannah. The purpose is to promote Economic Development and further Educational Opportunities. With this goal in mind, TechSAV partnered with Santa's Pantry Annual Winter Food Drive to offset the missed school meals for food-insecure children over the winter break.
