Beyond planting thousands of trees each year and investing in renewable energy, we are advancing our commitment to sustainable solutions to improve air quality and help cool our city in immediate ways. This Giving Tuesday, will you join us to Charge Forward to a greener, healthier Atlanta? 

What is the Giving Tuesday 2025 Challenge for Trees Atlanta? 

As our work fleet ages, our replacement plan includes more electric vehicles and tools to further reduce our use of fossil fuels and lower emissions. 

With your contribution, we can take an immediate step forward in reducing our costs and carbon footprint. The funding will be used for:

• Two heavy-duty e-bikes with utility trailers and an electric "gator" (hauling utility vehicle) to supercharge planting and tree care along the Atlanta Beltline Arboretum
• Two pre-loved Nissan Leafs to ignite engagement across the metro-Atlanta area without spreading pollutants 
• An assortment of battery-powered hand tools to make our maintenance work less noisy, without emissions
• Electric charging infrastructure to keep us fully energized  

Every small change can have a big impact. By investing in cleaner modes of transportation, you're helping us invest in our communities. These upgrades will lower emissions, reduce fuel costs, and improve efficiency across the 85 acres of greenspace we manage.
