Our Mission — Warrior Outreach Inc supports Veterans, Service members and their Families by offering a wide variety of equine related activities.  Warrior Outreach Ranch offers confidence building, Instructional and relaxing opportunities to interact with horses and enjoy Family bonding.   Our main focus is to assist Soldiers and Families in transitioning and adjusting to life after traumatic occurrences and family separation due to deployments such as war. Our Horsemanship Program  is designed to provide support, similar to equine therapy, to Veterans and their Families in the tri-community area.  We are staffed entirely by caring Volunteers and are privately funded by your donations.  Warrior Outreach partners with businesses and Volunteers in the local area to provide a free Veterans Helping Veterans home repair service for disabled  and deserving Veterans and their surviving Family members. 100%  of your contributions go to providing support to those who need it the most.

A Special Message from President/CEO CSM (Ret) Samuel M. Rhodes Sr. on June 6, 2018: I had a blessed career in the Army SERVING my Country achieving the highest rank a non-commissioned officer can attain, while defending our Freedom and way of life!  But, bottom line, when it comes down to it, SERVING is not about your individual rank or medals on your chest, it is about those you served with and those who made the ultimate sacrifice while deployed.

As you well know, our Military has been at WAR since September 11, 2001, our young men and women have experienced more deployments and combat tours than any GENERATION in history, and that takes a toll, PHYSICALLY, PSYCHOLOGICALLY and EMOTIONALLY.  Today, we are realizing the impacts of the operational tempo our military has experienced, and we see it in the number of veterans dealing with PTSD and mTBI of which I AM ONE, and the operational readiness rates of our aircraft and ships at sea.

Upon retirement, I was determined to continue to SERVE, in some capacity, our veterans and their families dealing with the same PTSD challenges that I faced, and my vision of Warrior Outreach was realized.  That was 10 years ago!

Today, we continue to lose over 22 veterans a day to suicide, and that is unacceptable!  The VA continues to address the symptoms of PTSD and mTBI with opiates and other drugs which might work for some, but for many has devastating long term impact.  Warrior Outreach is focused at our ranch on an alternative equine therapy which dramatically reduces stress, rebuilds confidence and provides a fabulous environment for family bonding.  We have touched over 24,000 veterans and their families in 2017-2018 alone.

Warrior Outreach is a registered 501-c3 whose funding relies 100% on public, small business and corporate donations.  Lastly, 100% of funds received GO TO SUPPORT THE VETERAN!  (Myself as President and my entire staff are unpaid volunteers who are committed to continuing to serve!)
