Each year, World Pediatrics delivers lifesaving and life-changing care to thousands of children in low-resource countries, empowers hundreds of local healthcare workers with training across pediatric specialty disciplines, and transforms communities by building their capacity to sustain high-quality pediatric care long after we leave.

At World Pediatrics - Atlanta, we believe every child deserves access to life-saving medical care, no matter where they live or their financial background. Through partnerships with local governments, hospitals, and agencies, we deliver advanced pediatric care to children in need across Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Caribbean, and beyond from the time they come to us for help until the age of 21.

Organization History:

In 1985, medical missionary teams in El Salvador, recognizing the urgent need to address the health challenges of impoverished children, sought support from the U.S. medical community. This led to the establishment of a nonprofit in 2001 sponsored by First Presbyterian Church in Atlanta, aimed at providing medical care to these children. Named Childspring International in 2006, the organization dedicated itself to facilitating life-changing medical interventions.

In 2023, World Pediatrics acquired Childspring International, a strategic move that combined the strengths, resources, and networks of both organizations. This partnership aims to enhance the collective impact on children's healthcare worldwide.
