Manga African Dance is a performing arts company. It was founded in 1990 by Dr. Ramatu Afegbua-Sabbatt. Manga is a non-profit organization with a mission to preserve, present and teach indigenous African cultural arts through dance, drums, fashion, drama, songs, African arts, and crafts, and more.
Manga has a passion working with children, seniors, and the general population, and is very eager to instill the rich African cultural heritage to them by teaching dances and rhythms from various countries, and by bringing the various audiences to discover the amazing and diversified cultures. Deep diving into traditions to present the historical facts of the dances and drums, either through performances, dance and drum classes, workshops, conference, or festival enable the community to get a better understanding of the programs.
