Join us at the table!

The dining room table inside our hospitality house is where everyone gathers. It's where kids play with play dough, volunteers write letters, and students sort donated clothing. Most importantly, it's where everyone gathers to enjoy a meal together. Through these meals, we get to know each other. We share stories. Sometimes the conversation is heavy. Often there is laughter and joy. This is hospitality. This is community. 

With your gift to El Refugio, we can continue opening our hospitality house and inviting guests and volunteers to share a meal and spend the night. With your gift, we will also continue to support people at SDC with visits, commissary deposits, books, and our bilingual helpline. We will continue to support families with financial support, information, and connection to resources. We will keep helping people coming out of detention get home safely. And we will continue to do what we have always done: advocate for the closure of SDC and an end to immigration detention.
