The Academy Cohort 2

Tommy Nobis Center’s The Academy is an amazing education and training program that prepares differently abled individuals for workplace success. I was honored to be selected as a student of The Academy’s Cohort 2 and take part in this program that changed my life. Because of The Academy, I am ready to fulfill my professional goals. I am more independent and can confidently advocate for myself, knowing that I am right for the job! Now, I am raising funds for The Academy on GAGives day, giving back to the program that believed in me and helped me believe in myself.

Fun Facts: 

• Cohort 2 of the Academy Graduated in October 2024!
• All Academy Participants were successfully placed in meaningful jobs.
• Jobs included: Floral Arrangements, Retail Services, Childcare, Elderly Care, Customer Service and Food Services.
