#GivingTuesday is officially on Tuesday, May 5, 2020. In light of the revised guidelines implemented by the CDC and in deference to our commitment to public health, the theatre suspended all AE performances for two months. During this time, its imperative that all artists and staff are adequately paid, but we cannot do it without you! You are Actor's Express's future, and we cannot sustain without your help. Consider donating to Actor's Express and help keep Atlanta's Theatre Community vibrant during this pandemic. The funds from #GivingTuesday will go towards Season 33 summer musical, Lizzie. Together, we can and will continue to be a leading player in producing bold, forward-thinking, new work in the Atlanta theatre community!

Our Mission: Actor's Express is a theatre that challenges and reflects contemporary human experiences in an inclusive environment. We seek to jumpstart individual transformations through the shared adventure of our live performances, which range from daringly provocative to audaciously hilarious.

Our History: Actor's Express was founded in 1988 by Chris Coleman and Harold M. Leaver. Originally located in a church basement on Clairmont Road, the Express soon moved to a location in Inman Park (the present location of Dad's Garage), where it remained until 1994. Since that time, AE has been located in West Midtown's King Plow Arts Center, a sprawling complex converted from a former plow factory.
