COVID 19 Impacts Patients with Cystic Fibrosis

COVID-19 is having an unprecedented impact on the economic and physical health of Americans.   Parents of patients with cystic fibrosis have lost their jobs, the children are at home due to school closings.  Not only are the parents having to worry about health insurance, co-pays and medical bills, they are now wondering how they can put food on the table.  

The Reaching Out Foundation Inc, has been in existence for over 25 years.  We have always provided assistance to patients in need.  However, the social workers are calling on us more than ever to help the patients.

For the most part the cystic fibrosis clinics have been  seeing patients via telehealth.  But the need to see patients in the clinic are increasing.  With parents out of work, the parents just don't have the money to get to clinic.

Please consider making your tax deductible donation today.  $100 will help us buy a grocery gift card.  $75 will help pay for a hotel for patient to come to clinic, $50 will help buy a gas card for the patient to travel to clinic.

Any amount no matter how large or how small will make a difference in the life of a child with cystic fibrosis.
