Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship is a ministry that is supported and funded by the generosity of churches and individuals who financially invest in what God is doing on campus. As our ministry has grown, our ministry’s financial needs have grown as well. The donations from the annual Columbus Collegiate Impact campaign covers all of our ministry expenses for the entire year.
This money goes from everything from new student outreach events, Fall Retreat scholarships, discipleship training classes, campus evangelism, and more. The money raised from this campaign allows us to say ‘yes’ to student ideas as they are proposed, allowing students to take greater ownership in what was happening in our ministry.
Our prayer and goal for this summer is to raise our entire ministry budget for the upcoming year by August 1st. Our annual ministry budget is $25,000, which goes directly towards our ministry costs that will allow us to reach more students and disciple them well. As a staff we have already invested time, energy, and finances towards reaching this goal and have successfully raised $7,500!
