The power of the story to change lives

The power of the story to change hearts and minds and help people is one of the main reasons I volunteer, give, and support Live Arts Theatre. Also, the impact Live Arts Theatre  has on the community is enormous in providing free or lost cost education through workshops and intensives to teach skills that would cost thousands of dollars to learn at college.  We seek to make sure the is a seat at the table that everyone, and everyone can get to and there are as few barriers as possible. The skills I have learned here have applied in my life in so many ways and the ability to touch hearts and minds keeps me coming back. One of my favorite memories is as producer of a play we took to Georgia Theatre conference and at the end there was a teenager in the audience who was crying and moved and remarked that this was the first time he saw characters and a relationship like his portrayed on stage and he felt seen for the first time!! The power of touching his life in that way is amazing and why we need your support to keep doing the work and changing lives in our community.
