Help Make Augusta Your Favorite Destination!
Augusta is shining with new public art, giving our city a unique experience for visitors and residents alike. Almost everyone’s travel plans have been impacted by the pandemic, but the good news is we have an increasing number of new sights to experience right here in Augusta.
The James Brown Mural by Cole Phail is one of the newest destination stars. There are new sculptures going up at the canal, 10 sculptures coming to downtown for the Sculpture Trail, and even more public art planned throughout 2021.
How to Help
Can’t travel this year? Help us make Augusta THE hottest art destination by donating some or all of your unused 2020 travel budget to support Augusta’s art community.
The Greater Augusta Arts Council needs YOU to help create more public art and support the many arts-centric programs in our community! Your donation makes many public art initiatives possible. It supports events and opportunities that help artists including:
- gallery exhibitions
- creative grants
- workforce development
- festivals
- Wet Paint Art Party & Sale
Your donation will also help the Arts Council keep the city, state and country up to date on the latest art developments in Augusta so that everyone will know Augusta is a hot destination for art lovers from all over the world.
