On GivingTuesday, millions of people around the globe come together for a common purpose: to celebrate generosity and support the causes they are passionate about while helping their local communities. We encourage you to embrace kindness and generosity by donating, and we hope you will consider supporting the Golden Retriever Rescue of Atlanta as your charity on Georgia Gives and GivingTuesday. Thanks to the support of individuals like you, we have successfully rescued over 5,000 Golden and Labrador Retrievers, since 1991. 

GRRA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We have no paid employees or brick & mortar facility.  GRRA is foster based and all donations go towards caring for the dogs.  In recent years, the demand for rescuing Golden Retrievers and labs has significantly increased. Unfortunately, 2024 has been a challenging year for rescues and shelters around the world, especially in Georgia. This is just one reason why your support on Giving Tuesday is crucial for GRRA.Currently, our average cost per dog exceeds $2,100, which covers basic medical expenses.  Our application and adoption fees only account for a small fraction of the funds necessary to meet our rising expenses. GRRA cannot bring in all of the Golden Retrievers and Labs in need.  Unfortunately many are turned away because of our lack of funds.  Thank you for considering supporting our mission!
