Pooler Paws is a local non-profit (501c3) organization helping community cats in Pooler, GA, and surrounding areas. Our goal is to help end cat overpopulation and re-home homeless cats/kittens.
Since our launch in 2019, the team at Pooler Paws have worked tirelessly to promote our cause. We are fortunate to have volunteers from all walks of life, who bring their unique expertise and resources into everything we do. This is what enables us to achieve our goals year after year. Whilst there is always more that can be done, there is no doubt that we are making a significant impact. We don’t measure our success through just facts and figures, but through happy faces and heartwarming feedback.
Over the past year, we've had several notable cases: orphaned kittens, cats rescued from the house fire site, taken in multiple young cats with broken legs, pitiful seniors, paralyzed kittens, as well as kittens/cats rescued from abuse and hoarding situations. We continue to pay for spaying/neutering for the cats in our care, and hundreds of cats have found loving homes through our adoption program. On top of looking after cats in the shelter, and also nursing new borns every few hours, the volunteers have looked after local feral cat colonies, housed hundreds of cats over the last year, and attended to cats requiring emergency medical attention at all hours of the day.
All this has been possible because of the amazing volunteer team and supporters, like you, who have donated and made all this possible. Your donations will help us cover the expenses of providing everyday shelter, as well as much needed veterinary care, food, and most importantly, love. Your gift truly makes a difference.
Thank you for your generous support and for making an impact in the lives of homeless and shelter cats!
